The Top 10 Candy Shorts of the week is a chart we build ourselves, because Candy publishes no view counts. It blends three signals into one ranking: demand, freshness and the warmth of the free episodes, and it is rebuilt after every Candy count so that its arrows always mean something. Read it as a snapshot of the week, not a permanent leaderboard.

Weights: search demand 45%, newness 35%, heat of the free episodes 20%.

How the chart is calculated

Three ingredients, three weights. Search demand counts for 45 percent: how many people in the US look up the title. Newness counts for 35 percent: a series scores fully on the day Candy releases it and fades to zero over two weeks, because searches for a new series peak within days. Heat counts for 20 percent and comes from the free episodes themselves, measured from their subtitles.

We redo the sums after every Candy count. The latest is dated November 2, 2026, and the arrows compare it with the count of October 28, 2026. A green arrow means the title climbed since then, a red one means it slipped, and a dash means it held its place. A title with a new badge has no earlier position to compare with, so it carries no arrow.

What the chart is good for, and what it is not

It is a good guide to what people are curious about right now, and to how warm the free episodes feel. It rewards titles that are fresh, searched for and lively from the first minute, which makes for a sensible shortlist on a casual evening.

It is not Candy's own view count, because Candy does not publish one. It is also not a quality ranking. A slow series with a great ending can sit low and still be the better watch. Nobody pays to be here, and nobody can buy a position, so treat the list as a mood board of what is hot, not a verdict on what is good. Use it the way you would use a streaming service's trending row: as a nudge, never as a rule. It will not tell you about a series people love quietly.

Using it to pick tonight's watch

Start from the top row and open the title page rather than the Play button. Check how many episodes are free and where the upgrade window shows up. A series that lets you through the first two episodes without paying is a low-risk pick, and if it hooks you, you will know what the third costs before you commit.

The chart prints its own positions, and they change each week, so we do not name a favorite in this text. Look at the list, read two or three pages, and choose the one whose setup you actually fancy. Free first, tokens later, and only if the story has earned them. If two titles tempt you equally, pick the one with the shorter wait before the paywall, and keep the other for tomorrow night.

The Top 10, answered

Who decides the Top 10?

A formula does, and we publish its ingredients: how much people search, how fresh a title is and how warm its free episodes read. We rebuild it after each Candy count. Nobody on our side moves a title up or down by hand.

Why can a new series jump in?

Because newness carries weight and searches for a new series peak within days. A fresh arrival can climb fast, then fade over two weeks unless the other signals keep it up. That is why the chart looks different every week.

Does a series pay to be in it?

No. No title pays for a spot, and Candy has no say in the ranking. It is our own chart, built from public searches and from the free episodes, and it is not a view count.
