Episodes

  1. 1. Episode 1 1 min 26 sFree, no account

David picks Mona up from the road and teases her all the way home. She insists she cannot stand him, he insists he is behaving and a raccoon becomes his alibi. Behind the front door, she admits she might not mind the attention.

Our take Mona and her stepbrother trade insults like a sport, and the raccoon incident is a surprisingly good running joke. Lots of banter, light on plot, but the chemistry carries it.

  2. 2

    2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account

The new girlfriend of their dad delegates the dishes, and a bargain is struck: clean up and go clubbing. Mona resists, David teases and a gift for the night out changes her mind. A last remark from David ends the scene on a dare.

Our take The dishes bargain is pure sibling sparring, and the gift at the end changes the tone nicely. A bit of a rerun of episode 1, though the chemistry between the leads keeps it moving.

Synopsis

Mona has a color-coded life and strong views about nearly everything, especially her stepbrother David. He is confident, easygoing and endlessly amused by her reactions. With their parents away, the two are left alone in a house that is suddenly too small. Every honk, every glance and every household chore becomes a skirmish. Mona insists she is immune, and David is happy to prove otherwise. Their daily contest of wills grows louder, funnier and more personal, and the lines she drew so carefully start to blur. Mona is a recurring character across Candy, and this series gives her longest rivalry yet.

Watch it if...

Pick this for the rivalry. Mona is stubborn, sharp and funny, and David is the opposite: relaxed, cheeky and relentlessly patient. The series is long, with fifteen episodes, so there is room for real escalation. If you like bickering that slowly turns into something else, this is a good place to start, especially if you already know Mona from other Candy stories.
