1. Episode 1 0 min 58 sFree, no account
The queen announces that touching her carries a death sentence, then names Kale her personal guard. He is told the stables make a fine start and that his post begins tonight. She notices his pounding heart and tells him it is part of the job.
Our take The death-penalty warning is a great opening beat, and the stable guard promoted overnight is a clean fantasy hook. Short, stately and a touch stiff, yet it earns episode 2.

2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account
The queen orders Kale to lock the door and cradle her crown with both hands. She reminds him what the law forbids, and what it does not. The court will pick her husband tomorrow, and tonight she drops the title.
Our take Better than the first. The loophole in the law is a witty engine, and the royal wedding vote tomorrow adds a ticking clock. The paid episodes now feel like the natural next move.

Synopsis

In a castle where touching the monarch means execution, a queen selects a stable hand named Kale for the Queensguard, a post no one else wanted. He is assigned to her bedchamber starting that evening. The court is baffled. Kale is more so, until the queen explains that she picked him because he looks back when she looks at him. The law forbids him from touching her. The statute is silent on her touching him. Every night on guard duty becomes a game of nerve, and the court is about to choose her husband. The clock on their secret is running down, and the stakes are a very sharp blade.

Watch it if...

Pick this for a royal fantasy with a romantic charge and real stakes. The power dynamic is the engine: a ruler who can do whatever she wants and a guard who can do almost nothing. It is built from slow glances, dangerous rules and a single castle corridor.
