Ava pulls Leo into the living room and casts him as the groom for the evening. She directs where his hands go, scolds him for improvising, and takes a call from Brad, who is glad someone is covering. The scene ends on the line about the kiss.

Our take The rehearsal premise is a clean hook, and Ava bossing around her stand-in is the best bit. Thin on story, but that last dare is a fair reason to press play again.

Synopsis

Ava is planning a wedding, and her fiancé, Brad, is never available for any of it. So she recruits the one man who always answers her calls: her stepbrother, Leo. At first it is harmless stage business. Leo stands where Brad should stand, holds her the way Brad should hold her, and gets corrected by a bride who knows exactly what she wants. Rehearsal turns into something looser, and Brad keeps calling in from somewhere else, trusting that his stand-in is harmless. Ava has a dress to fit, vows to practice, and a question nobody has asked yet: who is she really rehearsing for?

The pace is brisk, the leads have chemistry from the first exchange, and you get a full free episode before deciding whether to sign in for the next one.
