Synopsis

On a lonely stretch of road, a woman from the Blackwood emerges from the dark with an offer that sounds like help and smells like a contract. She wants no gold and no soul. She wants his nights, one per lord who bends the knee. Behind him, riders sent by the queen regent are combing the woods, and the man she would rather see wearing the crown waits at court.
