  1. 1. Episode 1 1 min 15 sFree, no account

Meeting his father's fiancee, the narrator learns she is thirty-four, he is twenty-six, and she would love to be called Mom. Dad names him best man and tells him to cover whatever Margot needs. Soon he is helping her into the dress, and she hints at what she wants from him.

Our take The age math is a funny opener, and the zip-me request from a bride with a best man at hand is a classy tease. Brisk and easy to follow, with a reason to continue.

  2. 2

    2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account

The wedding party grows as Margot's stepsister Dahlia, the maid of honor, introduces herself and claims the best man for herself. She teases him about trouble ahead. Later the groom's garter changes hands, and Margot has a surprise she calls his present.

Our take A second woman steps in, and the maid-of-honor claim is a good complication. The garter is a fun prop, though the plotting is thin. The closing present line sells the paid chapters.

Synopsis

Four days before the wedding, the father asks his son to be best man and to give his bride, Margot, whatever she needs. She is thirty-four, he is twenty-six, and she has already offered him the option of calling her Mom. Margot's stepsister Dahlia, the maid of honor, arrives with her own sense of tradition and a mischievous grin. Between fittings, rehearsals and family dinners, the groom keeps handing out cheerful instructions that make everything worse. Every errand brings the bride and her best man closer, and a closed door is the only thing the groom has not noticed.

Watch it if...

A fit for anyone who likes a wedding-weekend farce with a straight face. The dares are chatty, the timing is comic, and every fitting feels like a ticking clock. Margot and Dahlia bring very different energy to the cast. Episode one needs no account, and episode two needs only a free one.
