  1. 1. Episode 1 1 min 14 sFree, no account

Jake replies to a listing for the lowest rent in town and becomes the third tenant in a flat shared by two bombshells. Just unpacked, he overhears a wager on who gets him first. Rattled at first and curious after, he decides to act like he heard nothing and wait to see what they try.

Our take Cheap rent with a catch is a relatable hook, and overhearing the wager is a great reversal. The hero choosing to play along gives him agency. Breezy, fun, quick to ask for episode 2.

  2. 2

    2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account

Jake confirms that his roommates are in competition, and the morning begins with sly offers. Sienna and Mia trade warnings, and one claims she has already won. Jake tells them they are going to wear him out. Sienna decides to end the contest that night, while Mia insists that she never loses.

Our take Two rivals fighting over one prize is a tidy comic engine, with each trading warnings and brags. It repeats itself a little, but the tonight deadline makes the paid episodes a natural step.

Synopsis

Jake is broke, the room is cheap and the ad promised chill roommates. He signs without reading the fine print. Sienna and Mia live up to the word chill, but only until he overhears their wager: whoever lands him first wins the pot, and the loser pays. Jake decides not to let on that he heard anything. He plays along, keeps his face straight and watches two competitive women make their moves. The apartment becomes an arena, the rules change by the day, and nobody is quite sure who is playing whom. Not everything is as it seems.

Watch it if...

A cheerful pick for sitcom pacing and a rivalry of equals. The two leads bring contrasting styles, Jake is smarter than he lets on, and the joke is that everyone thinks they are winning. If you like romantic comedies with a wager as the engine, begin with episode one. It is free to watch.
