Synopsis

His girlfriend volunteered their home for a visiting student over one semester, and she picked Mica Sarasola: shy, polite, and carrying a notebook of questions. The questions begin with slang and quickly turn to idioms about relationships. Every time the girlfriend leaves for work or goes to bed, the apartment gets quieter and the lessons get more personal. Mica explains that demonstrations teach her faster, and her tutor is exactly the person who ought to refuse. A new word arrives every evening, each one slightly more dangerous than the last, and there is a line somewhere that still lacks a definition.

Watch it if...

Watch it if you like gentle comedy with real electricity underneath. The premise is a classic and it is played with a light touch: curiosity, mistranslation, and a host who keeps losing the argument with himself. It moves in short, clear beats, the clock is always ticking, and the girlfriend's calls keep the stakes alive from scene to scene.
