Sadie wanders out the morning after a quiet night and finds Nate waiting with a smirk and opinions. They bicker over the walls, the bed and Ben. Ben wonders whether Sadie can stay put until Monday, and Nate agrees far too easily.
Our take Sharp bickering between Sadie and Nate drives this, and the thin walls joke is cheeky. Ben is sweet but hopelessly in the way. The pairing has chemistry, so episode two is an easy call.

At two in the morning, Sadie is awake in the kitchen in clothes that don't match her excuse. Nate catches her out in a heartbeat. Ben calls from the bedroom, she answers calmly, and the two keep daring each other to say what they want.
Our take Both leads finally say what they mean, and the boyfriend calling from the bedroom keeps it honest. A well paced night scene, and the final dare is a nice nudge towards the paid episodes.

Synopsis

Nate and Ben split the rent on one apartment. Ben is a decent guy who never raises his voice and never does anything unexpected. Ben's girlfriend Sadie stays at the apartment on Saturdays and Sundays, and each time she and Nate trade insults over breakfast. She calls him rude and cocky. He walks around in a towel and tells her exactly what he thinks of her boyfriend. Sadie insists she can't stand him, yet she keeps coming out of the bedroom at odd hours and keeps arguing back. Ben is oblivious, trusting and a little dull. Nate is none of those things, and this weekend Sadie is staying until Monday.

Watch it if...

Watch it if you like a slow burn built on banter. The tension comes from small details: a towel, a kitchen at night, a sleeping boyfriend a few feet away. Nate is brash and Sadie matches him word for word, so the sparring never lags. It is a tight, funny pick for anyone who loves a rivalry that clearly isn't one.
