The handyman gets his orders from a prickly lady and stumbles on a lamp in a vault. The jinniyah rises, offers him anything, and is amused to hear him spend the first wish on his workload before she makes an offer of her own.
Our take A genuinely fresh premise for this catalog. The handyman asking for a lighter workload is the funniest beat, and the jinniyah's amused patience gives the scene personality. Clearly earns episode 2.

The genie keeps raising the stakes, from endless money to any woman he can name, and he keeps refusing. Pushed to admit that everyone has a price, he finally gives his, and it is standing right in front of him.
Our take The escalation of offers is clever and keeps the hero stubborn for a satisfying stretch before the twist. Witty script, strong pacing, and the final answer leaves you wanting what comes after.

Synopsis

He came to fix things around a mansion, and the lady of the house is not thrilled to see him. While she is out of the room, he spots a golden lamp inside the vault, rubs it and meets a jinniyah who has granted wishes to kings, generals and clergy for four hundred years. They all asked for riches. He asks for a tidier room, and she is intrigued. His modesty only makes her more determined to find his price, and the lady of the house is about to return. The lamp is a gift, a temptation and a very dangerous thing to be holding in the wrong place.

Watch it if...

Pick this for the fantasy twist on a workplace fling. The jinniyah is dramatic, ancient and bored with the usual requests, and the modest handyman is a nice change of pace. The premise is easy to follow, the dialogue is playful, and the sense of escalating temptation makes each short episode feel like a negotiation. A bright, funny way to enjoy a classic wish story.
