1. Episode 1 1 min 30 sFree, no account
Dana brings her fiance Jake to her billionaire boss's retreat, hoping to leave as a vice president. Meeting Marcus Voss and his wife Vanessa, Jake is taken aside for a talk between men. Marcus says every guest stares at his wife and most deny it. Then he asks an honest question.
Our take The retreat premise is polished, and the male-only chat by the fire pole is the best scene. The host's honest question is a blunt, shocking hook. Slight on character depth, strong on setup.

Marcus explains that the house has played this game on every retreat for ten years. Jake learns three rules and that his assistant has scheduled him for the afternoon. Vanessa appears with sunscreen and a smile, and the lesson in how this works begins. Jake cannot say whether he is being tested or invited.
Our take Three house rules turn flirting into a game, and the assistant booking him for the afternoon is sly. The sunscreen scene is mild but confident, and later episodes promise more.

Synopsis

Dana has one week to win her promotion, and she brings her fiance Jake along to the retreat. The host is Marcus Voss, a billionaire who loves a game. His wife Vanessa is the sort of woman every guest cannot help noticing, and Marcus has noticed them noticing. Over drinks by the pool he puts one question to Jake and sets out terms. A casita in the garden, a few rules and a promise of discretion make the offer sound easy. Jake, who has been told to be invisible, finds himself at the center of someone else's design.

Watch it if...

For viewers who enjoy power games among the wealthy, this one plays the long con with a straight face. The setting is a desert estate, the host is unflappable and the guest is out of his depth. It suits anyone who likes slow-building negotiations with rules that bend. Episode one needs no account.
