Tyler rejects a profile on a dating app, but Jake's thumb slips the other way. When they arrive at Tyler's house, the profile turns out to belong to his mother. She welcomes Jake with a smile and a quiet question about what he sees.

Our take The wrong swipe is a funny hook, and the reveal at the front door is well timed. Josie is relaxed and sly. Quick and amusing, with a good final question.

Tyler calls Jake from the other room while Josie hovers in the hallway with unmistakable intent. Jake slips off to shower, rattled, and finds out how quickly she can follow. She asks him to keep quiet, and he has no idea if he can.

Our take Tyler calling out from the next room keeps the tension light and playful, and the shower scene escalates cleanly. Brief, yet it leaves the paid episodes looking like the obvious sequel.

Synopsis

Jake and Tyler are the kind of friends who rate strangers on their phones and laugh. One night Jake swipes right on a profile for a laugh, only to realize too late that it belongs to Tyler's mother, Josie. She matches him almost at once. The next time he visits, she greets him in the doorway as if they have never met, and the secret is theirs alone. Tyler has no idea. Josie finds the whole thing delicious, and Jake can feel the situation tightening around him. A sleepover under the same roof makes every look a risk, and the hallway is shorter than it seems.

Watch it if...

Watch it if you enjoy the comedy of a bad idea snowballing. The dating app gag gives it a modern hook, the best friend adds constant risk, and Josie plays the scenario as a woman fully in charge. It is light, quick and nicely paced, with enough real nerves under the jokes to keep you wondering who gets caught.
