Jake meets Tyler's mother in a towel and stammers through an introduction. She explains Tyler never tells her about visitors, hands him one rule about her room, and walks off. He spends the rest of the scene unable to focus.

Our take A single rule, a towel and a stammering guest: simple, and it works. The pace is quick and the stakes are clear. The friend hardly appears, a missed chance.

He breaks the rule and ends up in her room anyway. She is not angry. She tells him to call her Margot and points out that she never said anything about him entering a different room.

Our take The loophole reply is the best line of the pair, delivered with a smile. Short and neat, with the rule broken fast enough to make the paid episodes feel like a payoff.
