  1. 1. Episode 1 1 min 0 sFree, no account

A tired traveler discovers a man in his hotel room and phones the front desk, who offer nothing but apologies. Twelve hours into his trip, he decides to change clothes and tries to ignore the stranger standing in the doorway.

Our take A great odd-couple premise: a stranger in the hotel room and a front desk that shrugs. The hero's running commentary is funny, and the silent guest is a good foil. Earns episode 2.

  2. 2

    2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account

The traveler is stuck with the stranger and starts asking who is in charge here. A voice at the door answers, and the whole evening tilts toward something stranger. He gives the stranger a nickname, and gets no response.

Our take The one-sided conversation is the joke, and the nickname gag lands. It is short and stays mysterious, so the real question is what the later episodes reveal. Intriguing enough to continue.

Synopsis

After a day of airports, our traveler swipes his keycard and finds room seven forty-two already occupied. The front desk is baffled, no other rooms are available, and he is too tired to argue. He decides to stay and change, and tries not to be weird about it. Then a knock comes at the door: the stranger's wife. She is not surprised to see him. She does not want him gone. She picked him, and she would like to watch what happens next. The hotel has locked the corridor, the night is long, and everyone in the room is very quiet.

Watch it if...

A slow, strange and clever setup for people who like their tension served with mystery. The hotel room works like a stage play: two men, one door, and a woman who has clearly planned everything. Every line has a second meaning, nothing is explained too soon, and the pacing keeps you guessing. Moody, odd and gripping.
