Episodes

  1. 1. Episode 1 1 min 5 sFree, no account

Her first day. The wife gives a quick briefing, leaves for work and the maid starts with the kitchen, checking at every step that she is pleasing him. A call from his wife checks in, and he answers that everything is fine, which is not quite true.

Our take Short and polite on the surface, loaded underneath. The maid's constant asking for approval is the whole joke, and it works. Thin on story, but the tension is neatly set.

  2. 2

    2. Episode 2 about 1 minFree with an account

The maid takes her instructions seriously, which is how the husband ends up watching her wipe, tidy and spill with great precision. A coffee mishap becomes a conversation, and a pointed remark about the cleanest room in the house changes the mood.

Our take Very short, and mostly one joke told twice, though the last line is a good one. The coffee spill is a simple device. Thin as an episode, but it keeps the mood going.

Synopsis

The wife has hired help and left a short list of instructions: stay friendly, and she will return at eight. For the husband, that leaves a long day in a quiet house with a polite stranger in a uniform. The maid is efficient, soft-spoken and strangely good at appearing wherever he happens to be. She asks whether her work satisfies him, takes every instruction literally and leaves a trail of small accidents behind her. By midday, the dusting has stopped being about dust. The clock keeps running toward the evening and the wife's key in the lock.

Watch it if...

For viewers who like a sly, slow tease built around a single location and a ticking deadline. Everything happens in a house between nine and eight, with the wife's schedule setting the rhythm. The maid is calm and very sure of herself, the husband is a flustered host, and the tension is built from small looks. A tidy pick for a short, suggestive watch.
