A soaked traveler asks to wait out a storm in the chapel. Two nuns take him in, offer dry clothes and count the years since their last male guest. A prayer list over dinner includes some very particular requests.
Our take The storm, the chapel and the scheming habits add up to a wicked comedy. The count of years since a male guest is the best line, and the prayer list is a gleeful twist.

The traveler asks what is on the schedule for him, and they swear it is nothing. Left alone for the night, he is told to ring a bell for anything at all. A sleepless hour later, one of the nuns knocks, and the other may be on her way.
Our take Funnier than the opener. The ring-the-bell routine and the race between the two sisters give it nice farce timing, though it is slight. Paid episodes look like a natural escalation.

Synopsis

Caught in a downpour deep in the woods, a traveler stumbles up to the doors of a remote chapel and begs shelter until the weather clears. Two nuns answer. They are warm, flustered and suspiciously thrilled. They find him dry clothes, set the table and confess it has been almost four years since a man slept there. One sister is bold, the other is trying to behave, and both seem to be keeping a very specific plan to themselves. Over supper they talk of prayer, charity and hospitality, and the traveler begins to wonder whether the storm outside is the real danger.

Watch it if...

A pick for viewers who want a playful forbidden fantasy with lots of comic timing. The setting is a single chapel in a storm, the leads trade quips like old friends, and the sisters bicker as much as they scheme. It is mischievous more than moody.
